To support you, Komatsu offers the 12HM (Heavy-duty Miner) series continuous miner, that includes the 12HM26, 12HM27, 12HM36 and 12HM46. Engineered to help productively mine industrial minerals like trona, gypsum, potash and salt mines around the world. The flagship machine, the 12HM46, is the largest and most powerful continuous miner manufactured.

Corrosion protection
  • Pins and bushings have been designed to guard against corrosion, a common problem in industrial mineral operations.
Closed loop cooling
  • To eliminate discharging cooling water onto extracted material, the 12HM continuous miners can be supplied with a closed loop cooling system.
Applicable in industrial minerals
  • Specifically designed to operate in tough industrial minerals applications, such as salt, potash, trona and gypsum.
High production
  • With the most mass and installed power, up to1251 kW (1678 HP), the 12HM46 is engineered to be our most productive continuous heavy miner.
